: Congratulations to 29 of our devoted "DANCE EXPRESS" members. These dancers were selected by audition to participate in "Camp Broadway's" opening dance piece in Herald Square in the Thanksgiving Day Parade. They spent the entire week before Thanksgiving at rehearsals to prepare for this incredible event. After they returned, they went right to work entertaining senior citizens at many holiday performances as well as the Burlingame Ave. Holiday Parade. Recently they performed at the Golden State Warriors half time. Watch for our dancers at the San Mateo County Fair in August. If you need entertainment for your special event, please call on our "DANCE EXPRESS" Performance Team.

Our staff provides excellent instruction for every category, from pre-school to adult. The successful Pre-School program offers "Tiny Dancer" classes for 3 year olds and Pre-school 1, 2 or Kinderdance for 4-5 year olds. Each one hour class offers instruction in pre-ballet, pre-tap and tumbling/mat work.

Our upper level classes are divided into three categories: ballet, tap and jazz. Our ballet department focuses on proper technique, body alignment and placement, flexibility and strength. Our Jazz department is very unique in that our instructors teach diverse styles of jazz. Students learn technique from Broadway, Fosse, classical, lyrical, modern, and hip-hop. Our tap department teaches a sophisticated and classic style with strong foundation technique. Each student will not only learn the basic fundamentals of tap, but also fine tune their rhythm and learn musicality.

Our mission is to offer our students a school that builds strong technique and self-confidence with professional level teachers. We are also committed to offer all students many opportunities to perform. Dance is a performing art and we feel that a true dance education is not complete without this element.

Our staff consists of highly trained professionals with college degrees in dance, as well as certification through the Cecchetti Ballet Council of America. Our summer session is available to students who wish to dance year-round. Our "Little Stars" summer workshop meets twice a week and is designed for 3-5 year olds. We offer summer classes in July from 4:00-8:00pm.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR FALL 2008 REGISTRATION: MAIL-IN REGISTRATION ONLY: MARCH 17TH 2008- FOR CONTINUING STUDENTS 3-7 YEARS and NEW STUDENTS 3-12 YEARS (April 21st Walk-in registration) CLOSED MARCH 24-29 FOR SPRING BREAK MAY 5TH 2008- FOR 7 YEARS AND UP CONTINUING STUDENTS AND TRANFERRING STUDENTS WITH EXPERIENCE. (May 19th Walk-in registration) We are proud to say that our classes do fill up quickly so don't wait. Register early and don't be left out. If would want to be put on our registration mailing list, please call 525-1900 and leave us your child's age, address, phone number and we'll be glad to send information at registration time. Packets will be mailed out the week of February 26th. Continuing students packets will be mailed at the beginning of April.
